Student Council Past Projects
The Developing Minds Foundation is a non-profit organization that builds schools and supports education programs in areas affected by violence and poverty. The idea to support the foundation came from Spanish teacher Iliana Leonard, who personally knows one of the foundation members who works with children in the mountains of Colombia.
The Break-the-Dresscode Day is scheduled for Friday, January 22, 2010. For a donation of one dollar, students are encouraged to wear blue, red, and yellow (the colors of the Colombian flag) or a soccer jersey (a favorite sport in Colombia.) All students should wear shoes that are appropriate for P.E.

The canned food drive collected food and supplies
for needy families in November.
At the November meeting, guest speaker Brandon D. explained his personal project for raising funds for terminally ill children.

in appreciation of their teachers.
