1/27/12	NEW! INFORMATIONAL MEETINGS about the Music USA Orlando field trip We are hosting two informational meetings about the Music USA Orlando field trip. We strongly encourage any parents of new chorus members to attend. Logistics, costs, and other various details will be discussed, as well as to answer any questions you may have about the trip. Thursday, February 16th: 8:15 - 9:15 am. in the Music Room 3:15 - 4:15 pm. in the Art Room (during Chorus rehearsal) No RSVP necessary
1/12/12	Music USA Festival The JCDS Chorus and Band will be participating in the Music USA Festival at Universal Studios in Orlando once again this year. Please read the attachment and send in the permission slip with a check (if applicable) & Behavior Expectations agreement before the deadline of February 23rd.
10/21/11	Deerwood Holiday Tree Lighting The JCDS Chorus has once again been requested to sing for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Buffet Dinner. We would love all Chorus members to join us! Non-Deerwood residents: If you would like to stay for the buffet dinner, please send payment by check (made out to JCDS) to Stacy Bowen before Monday, November 28th. The buffet cost is $16.95 for adults, $7.95 for kids 5-11, 4 & under are complimentary.
9/9/11	Empty Bowls Performance The Chorus has been invited again to perform for the 27th Annual Empty Bowls Luncheon on Tuesday, November 15th at the Prime Osborn Convention Center downtown. The Luncheon raises money for the Second Harvest Food Bank. The trip will be an in-school field trip. Chaperones will be needed for this field trip from 9:30am - 1:30pm. CHORUS UNIFORM

New Members
Chorus uniforms will be conveniently available for purchase throughout the school year at RC Uniforms.

Returning Members
The Membership fee NO LONGER includes the cost of the uniform.  The new Chorus uniforms, available forpurchase at RC School Uniforms, are very similar to the old uniforms.  The major difference is the new shirts will feature the school’s logo.  RC Uniforms will embroider the logo onto old chorus shirts for a small fee.  Boys may wear their old black pants and girls may wear their old black skirts until it is time to purchase a new size.
